Yellow Days drops a left-field soul tune, entitled, “What’s It All For?”

Yellow Days (George van de Broek) is a nineteen-year-old singer-songwriter/producer from Haslemere, England. Not too long ago, he released a left-field soul tune, entitled, “What’s It All For?”.

Yellow Days – “What It All For?”

“You say everything’s fine. But I don’t believe you baby. It feels like something’s wrong. There must be something wrong. The sh*t gets tense like the glass might crack. And I got this monkey on my back. Foundations shake, I guess that’s my mistake, and take a dive and dive into that lake.” – lyrics

‘What It All For?’ contains a relatable narrative, bluesy-soul vocals, and a jazzy instrumentation flavored with a nostalgic soul aroma. Also, the song tells a tale of a guy who’s in a problematic relationship with his significant other. Their troubles prompts him to ask an important question, “What’s It All For?”
