‘I’ll Be Waiting for You’ tells a bittersweet tale of a young woman who finds difficulty in waiting for the triumphant return of her ex-lover. The more she awaits his reappearance, the more she desires another chance to be everything that he wants.
Therefore, by her lonesome, she sings to him in the mirror knowing that he might never hear her regretful voice again.
‘I’ll Be Waiting for You’ contains a relatable storyline, ear-welcoming vocals, and nostalgic instrumentation flavored with indie-pop and alternative elements.
