I wrote it as an open letter to the state of California after a guy I was dating moved there for a fresh start and left our relationship behind, personifying Cali as if she were the other woman. The song was tracked in Nashville’s Blackbird Studio with world-class musicians. The track has a reminiscent, west coast feel and takes listeners on an emotional journey of hurt, acceptance, and letting go.” – Tarrah explained
