Tahira is a talented 18-year-old singer-songwriter from London, Ontario, Canada. Not too long ago, she released an appetizing R&B tune, entitled, “Muffin.”

‘Muffin’ tells an enticing tale about a young woman who shares a budding relationship with her significant other. Apparently, when he wakes up in the morning, the first thing he does is kiss and hold her. Therefore, she adorably labels him her ‘little muffin’ because he looks so scrumptious in her eyes. Later, she tells him, “You say I’m crazy but you love it.”
‘Muffin’ contains a lovely narrative, alluring vocals, and dreamy melodies that will surely resonate well with fans of Coi Leray, Ella Mai, Kehlani, Summer Walker, H.E.R., and Samaria. The likable tune possesses melodic instrumentation bursting with contemporary R&B, drill, and urban-trap elements. While growing up in London, Ontario, Tahira quickly learned that navigating life and relationships wasn’t an easy thing to do. Combining her love of entertaining people and her passion for singing, Tahira naturally gravitated towards music. After a few difficult years, she realized that making music was her “Purpose” in life, and appropriately named her debut project that.
Tahira is still perfecting her craft, finding her vocal range, and playing with genre boundaries. For “Purpose,” she decided to stick within her lane and focus on hip-hop and R&B. The project features production from Pretty Boy Ron, Smikent, Bamt, and Austin PYO.
