“I heard that you heard I’m crazy, that doesn’t mean I’m complaining. Who knows who’s wrong or right? It don’t make a bit of difference not to try. And I don’t really know what I say, I don’t really know what I do.” – lyrics

‘Tell Everybody’ narrates an honest tale about a young guy who doesn’t care where he’s at. All he wants is for his significant other to be by his side. Later, he tells his partner, “Think of me when you’re dancin’ on your own. Wondering where the hell I am but it’s better left alone. Think of me when there’s nothing left to do.”

‘Tell Everybody’ contains an endearing narrative and ear-pleasing vocals that will resonate well with fans of Toro y Moi, Neon Indian, Jungle, Parcels, and LEISURE. The likable tune is the title track of Swim Fan’s new 5-track EP.

“I don’t really know what I say. I don’t really know what I do.”

“The beginning of ‘Tell Everybody’ feels like being in an airplane as it lifts off the tarmac. The beat kicks in, and we’re gliding toward our cruising altitude: a higher realm. The sound design of the song strikes a balance of ‘bouncy’ and ‘surreal’ that you didn’t know needed to be struck. Put this song on and dance so hard that the kinetic energy propels you into the sky.” – Swim Fan stated

Swim Fan consists of Spenser Powers (guitar/vocals), Justin McCullough (bass), and Tremaine Wade (drums/percussion). Together, they have been known to weave dreams of pop and waves of synth, perfect psych-tinged sounds for a punch bowl rooftop party or a pool lounge floatie veg session. Their influences include velvet curtains, old VHS tapes, and the one who got away.
