Star2 (@star2official) is an Asian-American singer, songwriter, and rapper based in San Diego, California. Ler Mu Dex is an Asian rap artist. Tae Tae is a legendary Ka-ren rapper from Thailand. Not too long ago, they released an official music video for their “You’re Still The Same” single.

Friends Star2, Ler Mu Dex, and Tae Tae pick him up in a Sprinter van as the narrative fades. Together, they symbolize friendship, freedom, and the courage to stay true to themselves.

Thai refugee Star2 came into this world enduring a great deal of heartbreak and loss. Now, he is on a mission to elevate the next generation of Ka-ren music artists as well as musicians from the current refugee camps. His upcoming EP “No Place Like Home” arrives on May 9th and features tracks with powerhouse collaborators Sprite, Luh Kel, Ler Mu Dex, and more.
Star2 began his life in a Thai refugee camp where he was forced to flee genocide from the Burmese army in Myanmar who burned his village to the ground. A lottery in the camp brought him to San Diego with his grandmother and her four children. Working alongside producer Chico Bennett, his collaborations with acclaimed rappers include Soulja Boy, $tupid Young, Mozzy, MBNel, Luh Kel, Lil Poppa, HoodTrophy Bino, YSN Flow, and MarMar Oso to name a few.
