‘Santa’s October’ tells a heartfelt tale about a lonely young woman who desires to spend the holiday season snuggled deep under her significant other’s warm embrace. Apparently, it’s only October (autumn), and the leaves outside are just starting to fall to the ground. Therefore, she feels foolishly crazy to be dreaming about her man climbing down her chimney wearing a red suit in the wintertime. Without anyone to hold, she finds herself waking up early in the morning to patiently wait for her lover’s return.
‘Santa’s October’ contains a relationship-based narrative, ear-welcoming vocals, and tuneful melodies that are sure to pull on your heartstring. Also, the endearing holiday tune possesses warm contemporary R&B instrumentation beautifully flavored with piano chords and a lonely sax. Furthermore, to celebrate the track, Samaria created a vintage, tongue-in-cheek “1-800-CALL-SANTA” commercial.
