“Trust Issues”
“I’m with the sh*t, good or bad, either way it go. If you got a problem with me, can you let me know? I got lotta issues, I try not to let ’em show. I got trust issues, don’t nobody get too close. Got dough like a roll choppa make ’em hit them folks. I got a Cali plug, he pull up on me in some loafs. Walkin’ through the airport and I got a Fenty tote. Ridin’ with my b*tches and we stay with plenty poles.” – lyrics
Rico Nasty has been among the most prolific artists in recent memory. She is currently dubbed as the DMV’s punk-rock princess who has evolved from the pop-tinged Sugar Trap era. Not too long ago, she released her debut album, “Nightmare Vacation,” a genre-defying project that showcases Rico’s out-of-this-world energy and rockstar delivery. For the album, Rico took cues from fellow disrupters such as Missy Elliott and Busta Rhymes. Notable songs, “iPhone” and “Own It,” boast over three million views on YouTube combined, and they are testaments of her prowess as a visionary.
