“This is a lovely song about how sad it is that the snow always seems to disappear with the rain (at least here in Norway). And that it would be better if it just fell down and stayed.” – Remington Super 60

‘A Winter Song’ contains a relatable storyline, dreamy pop vocals, and blissful instrumentation perfumed with an indie-pop scent. Also, the song is about the wintertime, inspired by bands such as The Free Design, Stereolab, Beach Boys, and High llamas.

Remington Super 60 has been around for almost two decades. So this isn’t their first time releasing a winter/Christmas-themed song. Not too long ago, they released “Here Comes Christmas”, “Christmas Song for Mel”, and “Another Christmas Song” to name a few.

“Although the song is titled “A Winter Song”, it should also work around the Christmas tree.”

Remington Super 60 was founded in late 1998 by Norwegian producer-songwriter Christoffer Schou. The band members include Schou, Elisabeth Thorsen, and Magnus Abelsen. Not too long ago, they received a cool tribute album created in their honor.
