Rebecca Aaron is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter with Southern California roots. Not too long ago, she released a lovely contemporary folk tune, entitled, “Rush.”
Rebecca Aaron – “Rush” single
“This song came to be when my best friend and her boyfriend rushed to Arizona to be with his family. Right when the stay at home order was put in place in California. They drove through the night and we didn’t know when we’d see them next. With how crazy this year has been, ‘Rush’ is a reminder of what is truly important. I reached out to a total stranger to collaborate on this and we produced the song entirely over zoom. He is now my favorite new collaborator and I am so excited for the music to come.” – Rebecca Aaron explained
‘Rush’ contains a relatable narrative, pleasing vocals, and evocative lyrics. The likable tune possesses acoustic guitar-driven instrumentation flavored with contemporary folk and indie-pop elements. Furthermore, “Rush” serves as a tasty appetizer of what listeners can expect to hear from Rebecca Aaron in the near future. Her mellow sound draws inspiration from James Taylor, Fleetwood Mac, Donovan Woods, and Kacey Musgraves. Also, her storytelling can be appreciated on a rainy day, inside a moving vehicle.
