Philippa releases nostalgic visuals for her “In Your Arms” single

Philippa is a singer-songwriter from Stockholm, Sweden. Not too long ago, she released nostalgic visuals for her “In Your Arms” single.

Philippa – “In Your Arms”

“Hold my hand and tell me it’s ok. Tell me that light is coming my way. Hold my heart so it won’t break. I can’t take another heartache. I lost my way when I tried to fit in. My feet would walk where no-one had been. People say that it’s your path you take. But what if your path got lost in translate?” – lyrics

The video begins with the old family footage of Philippa when she was a playful child. Also, the audiovisual is a representation of who she was and who she is today, with a tribute to her family.

The song highlights Philippa’s struggles while growing up and trying to find her place in a complicated world. Also, it explores how—with help from her family—she was able to persevere.

‘In Your Arms’ contains a relatable storyline, sweet soul vocals, and slow-burning instrumentation embedded with soft piano, playful drums, and dreamy synths. Also, the song was co-produced by Philippa and her brother, Fredrik.

“‘In Your Arms’ is a song about growing up in a world feeling lost and misunderstood. It’s a song about gratitude towards the family who are there for you, holds your hand, and who believes in you even when you don’t believe in yourself. This is a tribute to my family and a message to those who hurt me.  With my family by my side, they will never win.” – Philippa
