Phil Hancock releases a tasty pop tune, entitled, “Heaven”

Phil Hancock is an electro-pop singer-songwriter from Australia. Not too long ago, he released a tasty pop tune, entitled, “Heaven”.

 Phil Hancock – “Heaven”

“I’m a broken record, I keep thinkin’ ‘bout you. I can’t stop this thinkin’ about you. I’ve been really hard on myself. Trying to make an impression I won’t regret. I wanna get close to you, but I can’t hide. I can’t hide my feelings. I’m a little desperate, and if I can’t have you then I can’t have anything else.” – lyrics

‘Heaven’ tells a dreamy tale of a guy who’s head-over-heels in love with a woman he desires to be in a romantic relationship with. He’s willing to lay down his life for her, just so he can travel to heaven for her sake. Also, he makes it clear that he doesn’t want anything else if he can’t have her.

‘Heaven’ contains a relatable storyline, sweet soul vocals, and a romantic instrumentation sprinkled with R&B and Pop elements. Also, the song is the opening chapter to a series of electro-pop singles that Hancock will be releasing over the next year.

“‘Heaven’ is the breakdown of a relationship. The pain, confusion, and desperation in being left alone, and the lengths you’d go to just to be with them.” – Phil Hancock

Phil Hancock spent the past three years writing and releasing relaxing piano music. Also, he’s been performing traditional Balkan music throughout Europe and America, as well as touring Australia singing in local bars and clubs.

His 2018 has been a year of heartbreak, chronic illness, and growth. Now, he’s pouring all of his experiences into emotional pop tunes, which is labels—dance-’til-you-cry music.

Phil Hancock’s musical influences include Troye Sivan, Julia Michaels, Lauv, Emeli Sande, and James Arthur.
