Osasioo – “Home” single
“I want to go home, where nothing seems to faze me, serenity—it finds me. Take me home, where everything’s all right and I have a piece of mind. Take me home, where I feel like I am free, my special place indeed.” – lyrics
‘Home’ tells a heartfelt tale about a young guy who finds himself walking outside on a bright sunny day. Apparently, he’s experiencing the worst time of his life. Therefore, he desires to go home, to a stressless place where he feels safe and secure. “Later, he tells his significant other, “When we have time, there’s no money, and when there’s money, there’s no time. We keep chasing these things, yet we can’t seem to end.”
‘Home’ contains ear-pleasing vocals and a relatable narrative that encourages listeners to show love to the good people in their lives. The emotive tune possesses thudding drums and piano-laden instrumentation flavored with contemporary pop and R&B elements. Furthermore, “Home” is the first taste of what’s to come from Osasioo this year.
