‘Electric’ tells a charming tale of a young woman who shares a problematic relationship with her significant other. Apparently, when they first met, it was electric. But now, their romance has simmered down quite a bit and she wants to change that.
‘Electric’ contains a relatable storyline, ear-welcoming vocals, and well-tuned melodies. Also, the lovable tune possesses acoustic instrumentation scented with an alternative-pop aroma.

“I wrote ‘Hold On’ after falling in and out of love for the first time. So I wanted these songs about obsession, heartbreak, and growth to be really stripped down and honest. To me, this acoustic EP captures how I came to know myself better through first love and first heartbreak.” – Nya
Nya is a name you should remember and an artist you should have on your radar. With each release, she continues to establish herself as an exciting artist to watch. Her “Electric” single is featured on her latest acoustic EP, entitled, “Hold On”.
Nya – “Hold On” EP
“To her fans, she might seem unstoppable, invincible even. It may be easy to forget that behind all that blinding talent, all that beyond-her-years confidence, there’s an actual vulnerable person in there. Sometimes she’s afraid; sometimes she’s lonely. What better way to let all that out than the live ‘Hold On’ acoustic EP?”
‘Hold On’ serves as Nya’s biggest moment yet. The bubbly songstress recorded the four-track project with a live backing band. No overdubs, no software tricks, just the unmistakable energy and vibe of a group of musicians holed up in a room, playing off each other. Also, the project features her gorgeous “Love You to Death” single.

“I just want to love you ’til you take your last breath. Better fall in line or it’s off with your head. I’m loving you to death. I needed you. Tell me what you’ve done ‘cause I know the truth. I’m tired of losing you. Tell me that you’re done, and you’ll cut my throat. I’m tired of this bleeding heart. Tell me that you’re done, tear it apart.” – lyrics
‘Love You to Death” tells a disturbing tale of a mentally unstable young woman who is overly obsessed with losing her beau to someone else. Every waking moment, her tormenting suspicion pains her so much that she feels that her aching heart is bleeding. Later, she admits that the love which she shares with her beau is a crazy one.
Even more interesting is the fact that their fading relationship is on its deathbed. But she isn’t willing to accept that reality just yet. When it all hits the fan, when she can no longer control her fear of losing him, she does the unthinkable by loving him to death.
