NoMBe & Thutmose release visuals for their “Summer’s Gone” single

NoMBe is a German-born electric-soul singer and Thutmose is a Nigerian-born, Brooklyn-based rapper. Not too long ago, the TH3RD BRAIN labelmates released a cool music video for “Summer’s Gone”, a laidback single from their “Run Wild” EP.

NoMBe & Thutmose – “Summer’s Gone”

“Summer’s gone, but you can be my winter lovin’. Summer’s gone, but you can be mine. The world stops spinning when you open your eyes, my darlin’. What a beautiful soul, you deserve your own island.” – lyrics

The Aiden Magarian-directed video finds NoMBe driving a black drop-top vehicle through a desert area. Also, Thutmose rides shotgun, and a female model sits in the backseat with an inflated pink flamingo.

“Summer’s Love” showcases the artists’ unique chemistry. Also, the song consists of charismatic vocals, spit-fire raps, and solid hip-hop instrumentation.

NoMBe & Thutmose – “Summer’s Gone”

“We wanted to capture the carefree spirit of summertime while also realizing summer is coming to an end. The video represents us “returning” from summer and the director Aiden did an incredible job. Hope people will enjoy watching this video as much as the song.” – NoMBe

Not too long ago, the duo released their “Run Wild” EP. Check it out below and let us know what you think.

“Run Wild”

“Run Wild” EP was named after a track chosen by EA to be the theme tune for their FIFA World Cup game. The project combines the genre freestyle of NoMBe and the effervescent hip-hop of Thutmose, whose rising profile has seen him working with the legendary Scott Storch on his debut project.

We recommend adding NoMBe and Thutmose’s  “Summer’s Gone” single to your personal playlist.
