Nicole Millar releases an unapologetic pop tune, entitled, “Favours”

Nicole Millar is a talented singer-songwriter based in Sydney, Australia. Not too long ago, she released an unapologetic pop tune, entitled, “Favours”.

Nicole Millar – “Favours” single

“I don’t wanna deal with your sh*t. You got too much under that skin. Want me to forget all your sin. I just wanna forget I paid for your home. Act like you’ve got a halo for lips. I won’t sip on it, I wanna rinse. You must be living in euphoria If you think I will cry for ya.” – lyrics

‘Flavours’ finds Nicole Millar embracing a grittier and candid sound that her fans have yet to be privy to. Also, the deeply personal and cheeky tune addresses a dark period in Millar’s life where she encountered both loss and heartbreak.

Flanked by warped synths and Millar’s signature croons, “Flavours” serves as a thin slice of unapologetic pop savagery while marking the debut of a bold new era.

“I had a bit of a rough year with a lot of changes. ‘Favours’ is a song about how I’ve got no praise, or money left for this person. [Muki and I] really hit it off and couldn’t stop talking about everything that had been going on in our lives. It just became clear to write a song about this person that had made my life dull, but have a cheeky bounce to it.” – Nicole Millar

Nicole Millar is a name you should remember and an exciting artist to watch. She describes her music as “smooth, dark chocolate with hints of mint.”

‘Favours’ is the much-anticipated follow up to her 2018 debut album, entitled, “Excuse Me”. The project spawned the viral hit “Blindfolded” (8 million+ combined streams), and ARIA Gold-accredited single “Tremble” (11 million+ combined streams).
