Ni/Co (Dani Brillhart & Colton) is a duo based in Los Angeles, California. Not too long ago, they released a lovable pop single, titled, “Blueprint.”
Ni/Co – “Blueprint” single
“We’re a couple and a band. People think we’re absolutely nuts! ‘Blueprint’ is how we answer, ‘How TF don’t you two kill each other?’ Of course, sometimes, we get on each other’s nerves, but we just get each other.” – Ni/Co explained
‘Blueprint’ contains an endearing, love-based narrative, memorable chorus, and ear-pleasing vocals that will resonate well with fans of Ariana Grande, Julia Wolf, and Amelia Moore. The emotive tune possesses saturated drum-laden instrumentation flavored with a warm contemporary pop vibration. Furthermore, “Blueprint” follows mildly on the heels of Ni/Co’s previously released single, “what it (do do do).”
Ni/Co – “what it (do do do)” lyric video
“’what it (do do do)’ was written after someone we worked for waged mental and emotional warfare on us. We spent years letting this person control our happiness because we gave them control. We decided we can’t let the negative energy poison us anymore because it’s already done so much damage. So, we said we have to let karma and the universe do what it do and trust that it has our back. It’s a ‘let it go’ and ‘rise above’ anthem with an ‘F U’ twist. Writing the song was cathartic and we were lucky enough for it to reach a side of TikTok that felt the same and a thousand times over and that was maybe the greatest feeling. We felt like we had found a hundred-thousand-person support group for toxic narcissists.” – Ni/Co explained
Dani and Colton met while immersing themselves in the local Nashville writing scene. Since then, they have combined their early musical influences such as Boyz II Men, JoJo, and Usher to shape their sound. Their goals consist of being 200 percent (100 percent of the time), making people dance, and encouraging uncomfortability. Also, they want to convey this message, “Reach out and tell us your story, and we’ll tell you ours.”
