“Dead End of a Dream” is a deeply personal track that resonates with anyone who has experienced the bittersweet pain of unrequited love. Micha eloquently describes the trials of falling for someone who is already involved with another person. The song’s verse poignantly captures this internal struggle: “They’re growing pains and yeah it changed me, and I wanted us together. I dreamed about forever, still feel it but I need to let it go.”

The chorus is particularly striking, blending raw emotion with a catchy tune. Micha sings passionately, “I know that you can keep the pictures and the flowers, just give me back the heartbeats and the hours. I’ve thought about it every single night, how you roped me with your lies, how you took away your light that used to shine. You can keep your beauty in the mirror, just give back the words that I whispered.” These lines reflect the heartache and the yearning for closure, making it a relatable anthem for many heartbroken listeners.

According to MICHA, “Dead End of a Dream” is based on true events: “It’s a true story of falling in love with someone you’re not supposed to fall in love with because they are already with someone else. Do you let go or do you hold on?” This question lies at the heart of the song, making it not just a piece of music, but a narrative that many can connect with.

With “Dead End of a Dream,” MICHA has not only showcased his musical talent but also his ability to convey deep, emotional experiences through song. “Dead End of a Dream” is a track that promises to resonate with listeners for a long time to come.

“All you do is light the fire and feed the flame and make them higher.”

MICHA is a young artist determined to blur the lines between pop, alternative, and singer/songwriter. His musical taste is eclectic, from Chet Baker to Jon Bellion but you can find the heart of his songwriting in his incredibly well-crafted and honest lyrics.

Before the pandemic MICHA was part of a duo called Micha and Julia and in a very short amount of time, they were able to get their songs to notable Apple and Spotify playlists such as New Music Daily, New Music Friday, New in Singer / Songwriter, and were able to get over 2.5 million streams in less than a year. They played the bigger festivals in The Netherlands such as Lowlands, Bevrijdings festival, and opened for a few bigger acts. But when Covid hit they ultimately decided to focus on their careers as solo artists.

MICHA decided to write his songs in Nashville with the help of some great writing talents. Listeners can hear his hard work on his first single “Do Me Like You Do.” You could call it a “more edgy version of Lewis Capaldi” but honestly, it’s just MICHA.

This year, he is selected to play the Pop Ronde and between now and the end of the year you can see him play in one of the 40 venues chosen for this tour in The Netherlands. MICHA’s energetic set includes songs that will make you cry and dance (sometimes all at the same time) and one thing is for sure, you will never be bored at a MICHA show.
