Luwa is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter. Not too long ago, she released a lovely BTS music video for her debut single, entitled, “You.”
Luwa – “You” video
“No, I wasn’t scared of losing you when the stars fell and the sunset blue. Always ready to restart with you. Oh, so lovely, what our love’s come to. You, I unravel you. You, you unravel me too. No, I wasn’t scared of love till you. And my heart hurts ‘cause I know it’s true.” – lyrics
‘You’ tells a heartfelt tale about a vulnerable young woman who shares a budding relationship with a very special person in her life. The likable tune contains a relationship-based narrative, ear-welcoming vocals, and tuneful melodies that will resonate well with fans of H.E.R. and Adele. Also, the song possesses piano-driven instrumentation flavored with contemporary pop and indie-R&B elements. Furthermore, “You” serves as a wonderful introduction of what listeners can expect to hear from Luwa in the near future.
Luwa
“The purpose of ‘You’ is to invite listeners to think about the moment when they realize that their love for someone else has grown strong enough to overcome any conflict or disagreement. When you have an intense fight with your sibling, you aren’t scared because you know that your sibling is still your sibling. You wouldn’t worry about losing them. I believe that finding this feeling with someone else in the world besides your family is a beautiful experience. And that is basically what my song is about, that feeling and moment of realization.” – Luwa explained
