‘Playin’ tells a dramatic tale of a young woman who wants to leave her problematic relationship if things don’t change for the better. Apparently, she wants her companion to give his all or stop wasting her time. However, saying she’s gonna leave their relationship is easier said than done. Later, she admits that her partner knows what to say to make her stay.
‘Playin’’ contains a relatable narrative, pleasing vocals, and tuneful melodies. Also, the likable tune possesses groovy instrumentation flavored with contemporary R&B and neo-soul elements. Furthermore, “Playin” serves as a wonderful introduction to what listeners can expect to hear from LIV in the near future.
