The bittersweet tune tells a heartfelt tale of a woman who doesn’t have the courage to get rid of her significant other. Apparently, she believes she’s a fool for loving someone who will eventually let her go or let her down. Later, she painfully admits that she would rather be with a cold-hearted person than being alone and not having anyone to cuddle with.
‘Cold’ contains a relatable storyline, ear-welcoming vocals, and rich harmonies. Also, the sky-reaching tune possesses luxurious instrumentation scented with an alternative pop aroma.

With SXSW in her sights, and debut LA and NY shows on the horizon, the ambitions for the project are stretching to international territories, where Vargen already has a solid streaming foundation.
