LiHot (@lihotmusic) is a singer, rapper, and producer from Israel. Not too long ago, she released a lovely pop-rap, synthpop single, “Ridin’ Low,” featuring rapper Destruct. The song, released via Lihot Music, is a vibrant piece that encapsulates a journey of emotional rebirth.
LiHot – “Ridin’ Low” featuring Destruct
“Ridin’ Low” dives deep into the aftermath of escaping an unhealthy relationship. As LiHot explains, “The song talks about the feeling you have after exiting a toxic relationship and the realization of what you’ve been through but also the hope for a better future. It’s kind of like coming back to life.” Despite the heavy and profound lyrics, Lihot crafted an uplifting beat to ease the gravity of the message. “I made the beat very uplifting so it will be easier to take down the pill.”
The lyrics of “Ridin’ Low” are a testament to resilience and hope. “Hard times but the light will come, almost forgot what it’s all about. Let another human put me in a state of doubt. I know the way, following the crumbs, ain’t no stray coming out of the slums.” These lines highlight the struggle and eventual clarity that comes after a period of emotional turmoil.
Through her honest and transparent lyrics, LiHot’s “Ridin’ Low” single resonates with many who have experienced the ups and downs of toxic relationships. With her unique blend of pop, akin to artists like The Weeknd, Miley Cyrus, Dua Lipa, and Tate McRae, LiHot continues to carve out her own path in the music world.
