LIANA LUXE – “Mary Anne” visualizer
“If I had a dollar for every time we faltered, I could buy a submarine and you could come clean with me under the sea. I went to your mother’s just the other day, poor mother dearest, Mary Anne. ‘Where is my boy?’ She says. Oh, he’s with me on the merry-go-round, and he tries to sleep when there’s no one around. And he fights tonight so don’t cry ’cause he’s still alive. Mother please, dry your eyes, forget what you’ve seen. Tonight, he fights, so pray God him speed into the night. No Mother, don’t you cry. We fight for your life.” – lyrics
“Mary Anne” is a dynamic new single about how families, especially women – specifically women of color – deal with their military family in harm’s way. “Mary Anne” tells a touching tale that is painful, immediate, and hopeful.
“Mary Anne” was conceptualized, written, and self-produced by LIANA LUXE with major assistance from the “King of Chicago hip-hop” Ernest Dion “No ID” Wilson (Jay-Z, Kanye West, Rihanna, Beyoncé). No ID contracted his genius crew to drop love and nail the instrumental. LIANA and her team completed the magic.

“It was an extreme honor to work with No ID on ‘Mary Anne,’ since he’s the King of Chicago hip-hop and a Grammy winner in the pop space as well. ‘Mary Anne’ in a nutshell is the name of the mother of a soldier (could be any time or any war) and the narrator is the soldier’s woman. The song explores the complex emotions in the struggle to keep it together under stress, which is a universal struggle.” – LIANA LUXE stated
LIANA LUXE is a maelstrom of ethereal electric creativity. She borrows inspiration from greats like Lana Del Rey, Billie Holiday, Nick Drake, Trent Reznor, Nina Simone, Macy Gray, and Sia.
LIANA was magically musical as early as she can remember. After a near-death medical event at 14, she signed modeling contracts and worked regularly for Elite and Ford out of Chicago. Also living in Berrien Springs at the time was “The Greatest” –Muhammad Ali– who had a profound impact. At a party at Ali’s home, LIANA began playing his piano and Ali praised her talent and encouraged her to “Be a champion and go all the way” with her incredible songwriting talent.
Erin Martin – “Balloon” single (Pretty Little Liars)
Previously known as Erin Martin, LIANA LUXE’s first chart success was as lead vocalist and co-writer on Chicago House Legend Roy Davis Jr.’s “I Have a Vision” (released via Scion A/V with remixes by Fred Falke, Todd Edwards, and The Juan Maclean), hitting the Top Ten on Pete Tong’s UK BBC Radio 1 program and dance charts across Europe.
Subsequently, LIANA worked with NO ID and Mark Saunders (Depeche Mode, The Cure, and Tricky). She was selected for NBC’s The Voice, anchoring a top-20 spot on Team Cee-Lo, garnering praise from Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, and Adam Levine, and appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (singing with The Roots), and getting tipsy with Hoda Kotb on The Today Show.
LIANA’s “Balloon” single appeared in Pretty Little Liars, and her haunting ballad “One Day” was featured in Netflix’s One Small Hitch. She has performed across the country; her favorite shows being Lollapalooza, Summerfest Milwaukee (opening for De La Soul), and the Whisky a Go Go in Hollywood. LIANA’s Spotify stream count (Erin Martin) is over 400,000 plays and she has over one million YouTube views.
