KidSuper, Giggs, and Quavo released an Official Music Video for their “Big In Da Game” Single

KidSuper (@kidsuper) was created by Colm Dillane. Although he is best known as Colm’s clothing label, he prefers to brand all of his creative ventures under KidSuper, a creative collective that designs and makes clothes; paints and does art shows; records music; and films and music videos, all out of KidSuper’s Brooklyn space. Not too long ago, KidSuper launched SuperKid Records with its debut single, “Big In Da Game,” featuring the formidable pairing of British rapper Giggs (@officialgiggs) and American hip-hop artist Quavo (@quavohuncho).

The accompanying music video stars Giggs, Quavo, and Colm Dillane dressed in pieces from the STRING THEORY collection. Directed and produced by KidSuper Studios, the video presents a cinematic aesthetic inspired by Peaky Blinders and Snatch.

“Big In Da Game” was born from an inspired collaboration between KidSuper and Giggs, who first connected in Brooklyn, right outside the KidSuper HQ on Roebling Street, while Giggs was there with Dave East shooting the video for “Starlets.” Their creative partnership culminated in an original track crafted for KidSuper’s STRING THEORY A/W 24 show at Paris Fashion Week. The track caught Quavo’s attention when he attended the show and joined Giggs on stage at the official after-party. Energized by the experience, Giggs invited Quavo to add his verse, resulting in the amped-up version of the track released not too long ago.

KidSuper says: “Since Day 1, music has always been an integral part of KidSuper – from housing artists to making album arts, merch collaborations, hosting pop-ups, etc. KidSuper Records was always a pipe dream. We even made merch for it before it existed. And it’s crazy to think that something that started as an idea over 10 years ago has now evolved into a real song, debuted at Paris Fashion Week, with Giggs and Quavo, out on our very own record label. Wild.”

KidSuper is a platform for Colm’s abounding creativity, and its success has made Colm Dillane an unexpected reference in American fashion. Dillane firmly believes that enthusiasm is contagious and that whatever you do, giving it the utmost enthusiasm will capture people’s hearts. “When you are little, you believe you can do anything and that everything is possible – you’re young and you’re free. KidSuper lives by that philosophy.”

He was invited to guest design the Louis Vuitton Homme Fall/Winter 2023 Collection and entered the BOF100 list in 2023.

Giggs says: “Really excited to share with the world this cool collaboration, blending different worlds. Fashion. Hip Hop. UK rappers. U.S. rappers.” Giggs’ iconic line from his 2007 anthem, “Talkin’ The Hardest,” has cemented him as a cornerstone of UK rap, with his debut album “Walk In The Park” (2008) serving as a blueprint for British rap. Known as The Landlord, Giggs has consistently pushed boundaries with five studio albums, multiple mixtapes, and global performances.

Giggs’ recent work, including “Zero Tolerance” (2023), features collaborations with prominent artists like 21 Savage and Popcaan. Giggs has also worked with heavyweights such as Drake, Ed Sheeran, and Stormzy, earning a Brit Award nomination and several other accolades.

Giggs has made significant strides internationally, performing at major UK and European festivals, and selling out tours including his debut New York show in under a minute. He’s received notable endorsements, including a mention from Jay-Z in DJ Khaled’s GOD DID. With over 900 million global streams, 2.4 million monthly Spotify listeners, and numerous chart-topping singles and albums, Giggs continues to expand his influence.
