Kara Connolly is a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter from San Diego. Not too long ago, she released a wonderful music video for her “Other People” single.

Then it’s every week, then it’s every month, and then time continues to pass and you technically move on but there’s something quite beautifully tragic about that too. Isn’t it strange to think that person is still out there, going through the daily motions of their life, just without you?” – Kara Connolly
Sentimental indie romance films such as 500 Days of Summer and Juno inspired the video. The video shows the post-relational worlds of a young woman and her ex-boyfriend, played by Navid Golemohammadi. Once upon a time, the ex-couple used to do everything together. But now, while in the process of moving on with their individual lives, they have grown apart and are now spending time with other people. But every now and then, the woman reminisces about her ex and the good times they shared together.

‘Other People’ contains a relatable storyline, ear-welcoming vocals, and luxurious instrumentation flavored with an indie-pop aroma. Also, the song will be featured on Kara Connolly’s debut album, entitled, “Life in Rear View”. The 12-track project will be available on May 17, 2019, via Karat Cake Music.
