“It was the night before I was performing at my first music festival. I had just come back to our Airbnb from a night out and walked into my manager’s room. I had to tell her about an amazing idea I had for the songwriting tomorrow about lemon trees, smoking, and people who are dead inside. She looked at me and said, ‘Okay, do it.’ The next day at the studio, I brought up the same idea, and ‘Lemontree’ was born.” – Julian Daniel
‘Lemontree’ contains a dreamy narrative, ear-welcoming vocals, and sugar-sweet melodies. Also, the catchy tune possesses rhythmic instrumentation scented with an electro-pop aroma. Furthermore, the song will be featured on Julian Daniel’s upcoming debut EP, entitled, “E-Boy”, available Autumn 2019.
