Jhayco (@jhayco) is a Puerto Rican hitmaker, actor, reggaetonero, songwriter, and Latin GRAMMY award winner. Not too long ago, he released a music video for his high-energy single, “Torii,” showcasing the reggaetonero’s signature flow and evocative wordplay. The song was written by Jhayco with close collaborators, and produced in collaboration with Smash David, BAYDEN, and Argel.
Jhayco – “Torii” music video
“Torii” captures the essence of late-night revelry and unrestrained passion over a bold, pulsating reggaeton beat and provocative lyrics involving indulgence and allure, destined to dominate the club scene all summer.
The new offering encapsulates the evolution of Jhayco and the essence of the Vida Rockstar lifestyle, celebrating the carefree, dance-until-dawn spirit of the club culture. Jhay narrates the story of a wild night and extravagant pleasure, the Vida Rockstar style, with dog barks and bat imagery, and lines like “Sigue bellaqueando y yo te compro un rolly” and “Bien loco, bien loco, Nova Y Jory,” reflecting the artist’s penchant for combining luxury and street culture.
“Torii” sets the tone for what’s to come, hinting at jhayco’s highly anticipated next album project, and reaffirms his status as a trailblazer in the urban music scene.
HOLANDA music video
This year, Jhayco’s smash HOLANDA has 100 million views and entered the Top 100 of Spotify Global with over 310 million streams. Jhay’s first release of the year “KTM” has amassed over 10 Million Spotify streams.

Jhayco has firmly established himself as one of the leaders of El Movimiento’s new generation, working with nearly every big name in the mainstream and underground of the genre, selling out stadium shows around the globe including the iconic Coliseo de Puerto Rico, and racking up over 17 Billion streams worldwide.
Jhayco
A rare cross-genre chameleon, Jhayco burst onto the scene in 2018 with EP, “Eyez On Me.” He now has two albums and a slew of RIAA multi-platinum hits under his belt. His sophomore album “Timelezz” went #1 on the iTunes Latin Chart and was certified RIAA 2X Platinum. Aside from solo work, Jhayco first made waves as a beloved collaborator, nabbing two GRAMMY awards as a producer for Tito El Bambino and J. Balvin.
As a featured artist, Jhayco’s link-ups with Bad Bunny – 2020 #1 Billboard Global 200 smash “DAKITI” and the RIAA 20x platinum remix of “No Me Conoce” from 2019 debut “Famouz,” which also featured J. Balvin – are firmly cemented in the new reggaeton canon. Outside the mainstream, features with indie duo Buscabulla (tender album finisher “Eternamente”) and Kali Uchis (a sensual verse on “La Luz”) made Jhayco an alt-Latinx sensation.

Jhayco made his television debut last year in the Netflix dramedy series NEON, executive-produced by Daddy Yankee. With a new album project slated for release this year and more collaborations in the works, there’s no stopping one of El Movimiento”s most prominent figures.
