Jesse Eplan – “Bakwoods” music video
‘Bakwoods’ opens on soft gleaming colors flowing into a low-slung sensuous R&B tune flavored with a pulsing trap groove composed of a fat rolling bassline and crisp percussion.
Clicking accents imbue the tune with rhythmic depth, as Jesse Eplan’s velvety tenor delivers a silky gliding flow.
The video, shot by Anthony Sylvester, combines subtle hues of pink with the shadows and sights of a big city.
Also, Eplan reflects on his paramour and arrives in his thoughts wearing a VR headset, emphasizing the surreal aspect of the visuals.

The song narrates Eplan’s love and respect for his special lady, as well as his taste for recreational activities.
Originally from New York, Eplan grew up listening to Led Zeppelin, AC DC, and The Beatles, leading him to learn any and all instruments he could.
Later, he began playing in bands, singing, drumming, and on lead guitar, allowing him to polish his chops.
Later, he moved to Tampa, Florida, where he attended the University of Tampa.

“Being in Tampa gave me new elements of a more tropical sound to add to my music. From its overall summer vibes to the scenery. It really spoke to me along with being able to meet new artists, producers, videographers, and entrepreneurs to learn from and collaborate with.” – Jesse Eplan
Jesse Eplan’s first two releases, Trap Harmony and Purple Wave, served notice of his talent. Also, it featured collaborations with artists like Famous Dex and Kontraversy.
With his sound, a blend of hip-hop, R&B, and alt-pop, Jesse concocts creamy bangers full of smooth textures and sumptuous layers of coloration.
