“‘What Can I Do” is about being there for someone no matter what the situation is. Just being a steady foundation and source of hope for when someone needs it the most.” – songwriter, Seth Baer stated

‘What Can I Do’ highlights themes that capture the essence of what drives Isabelle in her life, music, and her love and advocacy for others. The heartfelt tune contains a friend-based narrative and ear-pleasing vocals that will resonate well with fans of Maggie Rogers, Kasbo, and The Lumineers. The mellow tune possesses warm guitar and gentle piano-laden-laden instrumentation flavored with indie-pop, alternative, and folk elements. Furthermore, “What Can I Do” serves as a tasty appetizer to what listeners can expect to hear from Isabelle Fries in the near future as she continues to release new music.

“Music has a way of making people feel things they didn’t know they could feel or needed to feel. It does that for me every day. Music meets you where you are emotionally and helps you find out where you need to go. It can help us all feel together in a healthy way. But it can also help us understand that what we feel is okay. Sometimes in our world, we are told not to feel or not to break down and be human, but music helps us to remember that we can. That suffering is not a process that we have to endure alone.” – Isabelle Fries explained

Isabelle Fries’s award-winning tunes have independently accumulated six million streams on social media and various music platforms. Since the age of 15, the charismatic songstress has been traveling to Uganda, where she became a board member of The Global Livingston Institute (GLI) at the age of 18. In 2017, she performed in Uganda for their annual iKnow Concert Series. Also, she founded the Bulamu Raise Your Voice Community Foundation as a sister foundation to GLI. Isabelle’s foundation implements academic, sports, and music curriculums in schools, developing recycling initiatives, and teaching water safety on Lake Buyonyoni. She continues to use her music as a platform to help those in need across the world.
