Indigo Mateo is a Puerto Rican, Honduran, Salvadoran-American singer-songwriter and culture worker from New Jersey. Indigo Mateo – “My 1” single
“This song is a declaration of love for my soulmate. I always wondered if I would find my romantic soulmate in this lifetime. And I was extremely surprised when I came across that type of love connection through the walls of a prison. ‘My 1’ is about choosing love, leaving doubt and fear behind, and celebrating the satisfaction of deep connection.” – Indigo Mateo explained
‘My 1’ contains a relationship-based narrative, ear-pleasing vocals, and tuneful melodies. The relatable tune possesses vibey instrumentation flavored with a breezy electro-house vibration. Furthermore, “My 1” serves as a tasty appetizer to what listeners can expect to hear on Indigo Mateo’s upcoming sophomore album, “Singleplayer,” set to be released in the Fall of 2021. The project contains breakup bops, rap anthems, and all-around main-character energy.
