Halia Jack – “Criminal Love” single
“Love is a choice, not an emotion. You do me wrong. I keep on going. You treat me wrong, but I come back. You always treat me so bad but I come back. No, I won’t pretend I don’t think about it (your criminal love).” – lyrics
‘Criminal Love’ tells a bittersweet tale of a young woman who shares a problematic relationship with her significant other.
Apparently, her companion treats her very badly. Therefore, she wants to leave their relationship. But somehow, she keeps going back, even though she isn’t being shown the love she deserves.
‘Criminal Love’ contains a relatable storyline, pleasing vocals, and tuneful melodies. Also, the likable tune possesses moody instrumentation scented with a modern disco ‘n’ retro R&B aroma.
