‘Angel’ contains a relatable narrative and real-life raps based on true experiences. The likable tune possesses melodic drum-laden instrumentation flavored with a hip-hop vibration. G MiMs
G MiMs is the son of “The Koolest Legend” and Hip Hop pioneer, Kool DJ Red Alert. He grew up engulfed in hip-hop music and quickly developed an adoration for rhythm, melody, and rhyme. During and after college, Mims performed at rap competitions, local events, and showcases, as well as some of the hottest stages in NYC like SOB’s, BB Kings, and Brooklyn Bowl. Also, he performed at major radio stations like Hot 97, Power 105, WBLS, and Kiss FM.
G Mims released his “Up in Smoke” mixtape, hosted by DJ Funkmaster Flex and DJ Red Alert. Later, he performed an explosive freestyle for Flex on Hot 97. Not long after that, he was featured on Shade 45‘s Sway in The Morning. Also, G Mims is a model and influencer for several brands, including AT&T which has his billboards and ads throughout New York City.
