Jonas Blue is a chart-dominating, multi-platinum producer based in Essex, London, England. Eyelar (@eyelarx) is a Dutch-born, London-based singer-songwriter. Not too long ago, they released a hopeful dance single, “100 Lives,” via Positiva/EMI.

Jonas Blue & Eyelar – “100 Lives” Lyric Video

“100’ Lives” is an uplifting stadium-filling hit championing a powerful piano riff and Eyelar’s glowing vocal hook. It’s a story about two soulmates staying by one another’s side through thick and thin, vowing to “live 100 lives” together. According to the UK producer, DJ, and songwriter (real name Guy James Robin), the track is a thematic follow-up to the 2018’s “By Your Side,” featuring BRIT Award-winning talent RAYE.

“‘100 Lives’ started as a piano instrumental I’d created randomly after watching the Robbie Williams documentary and feeling inspired by that big piano pop sound,” Jonas Blue explained. “Fast forward to a month or so later, and I pulled up the instrumental in the studio with Eyelar and (songwriter/producer) Ollie Green, and the lyrics and story just started to flow. It’s about finding your soul mate, someone you’d be there for no matter what, going through the ups and downs of life together. It’s a bit of a follow-up to my song ‘By Your Side,’ if you listen to the story in the lyrics.”

Eyelar, one of dance music’s hottest vocal talents, made her name initially collaborating with Dutch electronic producers Afrojack and Nicky Romero. She then moved to London and began making a name for herself there collaborating on key songwriting and vocal feature credits including RAYE, Charli XCX, Danny L Harle, Disciples, Swedish House Mafia, and David Guetta.

Collaboration as a songwriter and featured vocalist with Purple Disco Machine on the German No1 Airplay Hit ‘Dopamine’ and also on ‘Shutters’ with Fred Again on the Grammy-winning ‘Actual Life 3’ album further enhanced her growing reputation as one of the most sought-after collaborators in electronic music with over 1 billion streams across her songwriting and feature vocalist credits.

Jonas Blue has a stellar reputation for making chart hits through choice collaborations. In May, he released the single “Mountains,” working with Galantis and Zoe Wees, a track that later received an acoustic version and was remixed by Eden Prince, D’n’B producer Mollie Collins, and KC Lights. In January, Jonas gave us the trance-y “Rest Of My Life,” a collaboration between Jonas and Sam Feldt under their new alias, Endless Summer. Their other release “Crying On The Dancefloor,” now has over 200 million streams.
