FARR releases a heartfelt alternative tune, entitled, “Heal Me”

FARR (@romeoofficially x @lindenjay) is a talented transatlantic duo (by way of L.A. and London). Not too long ago, they released a heartfelt alternative tune, entitled, “Heal Me”.

FARR – “Heal Me” single

“I need you to heal me, to feel me. It’s murder when you’re not around. I need you to heal me, be near me. Never needed you closer than now. Oh, the silence has spoken, it’s dark and it’s hopeless. And I don’t know how it plays out.” – lyrics

‘Heal Me’ serves as FARR’s most powerful and essential statement yet. Also, the song is a fantastic indication of what listeners can expect to hear from the charismatic duo. Furthermore, the song addresses loneliness and a heartfelt longing for missed loved ones.

“We’re so excited for this track to be out. I originally wrote this one with Carl Barat and Olly Burden during the same trip to London that I met Linden on. After a big night out, I dragged myself to the studio across London and wrote the song between cold sweats. This was my longest and first trip alone to another country and felt pretty alone in London. So we ended up with this visceral love song about when you’re away from someone you love for a long time.” – Romeo

FARR comprises of vocalist Roméo and producer Linden Jay (who also produced for Rejjie Snow, LION SNOW, RITUAL, and more).

The duo met in 2016 at a studio session that snowballed into the beginning of an incredible hybrid electronic project. Separated by oceans, FARR writes and creates their music via voice notes and memos. Also, “Heal Me” will be featured on their upcoming album, entitled, “Weightless”, set to be released on  February 7, 2020.

‘Heal Me’ contains a relatable storyline, ear-welcoming vocals, and rich harmonies. Also, the downtempo tune possesses grungy guitar-driven instrumentation scented with an alternative pop ‘n’ R&B aroma. Furthermore, ‘Heal Me’ follows on the heels of FARR’s “Paranoid” and “Technicolour” singles.

We recommend adding FARR’s “Heal Me” single to your personal playlist. Also, let us know how you feel about it in the comment section below.
