Faduma – “Dry Cry”

“‘Dry Cry’ is a song about failed expectations within a relationship that sounds like trap but with a heavy pop influence.” – Faduma

‘Dry Cry’ tells a tale of a woman who doesn’t have the time or patience for nonsense. Apparently, she’s involved in a romantic relationship with an untrustworthy dude who’s wasting her valuable time with lies and deceit. Eventually, she becomes fed up with his dishonesty. He tries to speak up in his defense but she has no time for his dry cries and fake crocodile tears.

‘Dry Cry’ contains a relatable storyline, melodic vocals, and infectious instrumentation flavored with urban soul and modern R&B elements.
