Emma Kade is an award-winning Canadian Métis artist and songwriter from the small town of Creston in the Kootenay region of British Columbia. This song is about those moments of excitement while falling in love and the butterflies that come with it. After singing countless brides down the aisle as a wedding singer, it’s only fitting that I wrote ‘End Game’ about my husband and performed it for him at our wedding.”
“End Game” follows three recent singles from Kade, highlighted by her most recent one – the 2022 pop collaboration “Let Me Go” – which reached almost a million Spotify streams and found its way to listeners in more than 150 different countries.

A prolific multi-genre artist and songwriter since high school – which resulted in her debut album, 2015’s “Transparent” – Emma Kade’s path to “End Game” has included diverse milestones like a 2018 Kootenay Music Award for Best Pop Song (“Until My Heart Quits”), a contest win to open for Canadian country music icon Dean Brody in 2022, and a juried selection to participate in Music BC’s ARC Artist Accelerator Program in 2023.
Looking ahead, Kade is leaning into her longtime love of country and bluegrass music and their rich storytelling traditions to showcase more of her country-minded contributions down the road.
