Davido (born David Adedeji Adeleke) is a Platinum-selling, multi-award-winning singer, songwriter, and record producer. Not too long ago, he announced his upcoming fourth studio album, entitled, “Timeless,” available on March 31st, 2023, via Columbia Records.

Davido declared the project with a video montage mapping the past 11 years of his iconic career, and fans were extremely excited to see him reveal new music on the way. “Timeless” will be his first studio release since his critically acclaimed 2020 project, “A Better Time.” Meanwhile, Davido has continued to deliver hit singles. 2021 saw star collaborations including his remix of Focalistic’s breakthrough amapiano single, “Ke Star,” and their follow-up hit, “Champion Sound,” as well as the afrobeat anthem, “High,” with Adekunle Gold.

“There is a time for everything. A time to grieve and a time to heal. A time to laugh and a time to dance. A time to speak and a time for silence. I do all of this in my own time, grounded by your love which is timeless.” – Davido explained

Davido has cemented his position as a global force within the music industry. The American-born, Nigerian-raised afrobeats icon has amassed over two billion streams and over one billion video views across his 11-year career. The most followed afrobeats artist across social media, Davido has been a forerunner in connecting the world to afrobeats and vice versa. He broke records in 2019 with hit singles “If,” “Fall,” and “FIA.” The tracks marked the beginning of the adoption of Afrobeats Stateside and saw the artist pick up awards and nominations accordingly. 2022 was an even more momentous year with singles “WATAWI,” “Electricity,” and “Stand Strong (9+).”

A global superstar, in 2022, Davido was handpicked by FIFA to lead their 2022 World Cup soundtrack, “Hayya Hayya (Better Together).” Career milestones have also included two sold-out shows at London’s O2 Arena, headlining AfroNation around the globe, and closing the 2022 World Cup with a performance seen by over 250 million viewers. His third studio album, 2020’s “A Better Time,” is the critically acclaimed follow-up to his 1.2 billion streaming 2019 release, “A Good Time.”

Earning 30 awards and nominations internationally including the MOBO for Best African Act, the MTV EMA for Best African Act and Best International Act, two MTV Africa Music Awards, a BET award for Best African Act and Best International Act (2018), two Nigerian Teen Choice Awards for Top Featured Artist and Choice Male Artist, Davido global impact is unmatched.
