Daniella Mason is an alternative pop singer-songwriter based in Nashville, Tennessee. Not too long ago, she released “Public Places”, a hot pop tune from her “Emotional State” EP.

‘Public Places’ tells the tale of a woman who weeps on a non-stop flight from Dallas. Also, she cries on a train ride back to Manhattan.
In both places, passengers stare at her, but she’s too emotional to stop crying. Apparently, someone she’s in a romantic relationship with has done something that hurt her feelings.
‘Public Places’ contains a relatable storyline, wonderful pop vocals, and enjoyable instrumentation perfumed with a commercial pop scent.

“This is by far the least competitive I’ve ever been with a project. I’ve always been a storyteller, but I often let expectations creep in and disrupt the process. With this project, I purposefully waited to put my business hat on until after the creative process was finished, allowing things to unfold organically, uninterrupted. It’s been a new experience for me, and I hope these EPs continue to reveal more and more of what’s been hidden.” – Daniella Mason
Over the course of the next year, Mason will be releasing four EPs as part of her State of Mine sound series. The first EP, “Emotional State”, will be followed by “Physical State”, “Mental State”, and “Spiritual State”. Each EP will explore the different parts of our humanity that we tend to suppress and have difficulty embracing.
