Coco Jones is a Nashville-raised singer-songwriter from Columbia, South Carolina. Not too long ago, Vevo, the world’s leading music video network, released a LIVE video of Coco performing her “ICU” single.

“First, we agreed that we’re better as friends. I’ll delete every message that we send. Try to move on with somebody less like you. I don’t know how we end up in the red. Find myself reading your comments again. And then we end up in each other’s heads. It all makes sense because you’ve got a feeling, a soul, that I need in my life, babe. And though we may grow, I don’t know why we don’t grow apart.” – lyrics
The Luis G. Santos-directed video finds a visually appealing Coco Jones delivering an effortlessly stellar performance. The talented songstress passionately sings about being vulnerably trapped in a problematic relationship with a partner who turns her heart blue. With a heavy heart, she sings, “Maybe, I just feel lost without you; maybe, I’m just pissed off without you. Maybe, my life’s just off without you, maybe, you’re worth it all to me.” Whether her partner deserves her love or not, one thing’s for sure, moving away from her companion will be a difficult task because when he touches her body, it feels better than any man she has ever been with.

“‘ICU’ is about the push and pull of being in a relationship where the circumstances have changed. Growing in our career and personal goals but growing apart at the same time.” – Coco Jones explained
Coco Jones, raised by a mother who was also a singer, and a father who played in the NFL, learned ambition early on. While Jones released music in her younger years, she’s now stepping into the rich R&B career she deserves, signing with Def Jam Recordings.
Viewers may have seen Jones on the big screen; she’s been in film and on TV since she was a tween. Currently, she stars as the new Hilary Banks in Peacock’s Fresh Prince reboot, Bel-Air. It makes sense that Jones found her way into acting through song—first as a recurring guest on Disney’s musical sketch comedy, So Random!, and, in 2012, as the golden-voiced love interest in the network’s TV movie, Let It Shine.
Coco’s “ICU” single is featured on her stellar debut EP, entitled, “What I Didn’t Tell You.”

“‘What I Didn’t Tell You’ is all about the stories that happen off camera. This project will hopefully share my real-life experiences with my fans and show them that I’m just like them. Sometimes people see me as the characters I play, but these stories are my own script.” – Coco Jones explained
To promote her EP, Coco released a wonderful music video for “ICU.”
