Claire Maisto – “What This Feels Like” single
“I haven’t seen your face in a week or something. I haven’t gotten a text or call no nothing. Ready for silence acting like violence and I don’t know if I got your signal. Could have treated you better, could have done a lot of things. Now I’m looking at my phone hoping that it rings.” – lyrics
‘What This Feels Like’ tells a bittersweet tale of a lonely young woman who recently experienced an emotional breakup with her ex-boyfriend. Apparently, she wants to be in his life again and regrets not treating him right when she had the chance to do so. Now, she waits by the phone hoping it rings.
‘What This Feels Like’ contains a relatable storyline, pleasing vocals, and groovy instrumentation flavored with neo-soul and contemporary R&B elements.
