CHARLOTTE – “I Tell Lies”
“I tried and tried but don’t you know sometimes I should just be with myself. Got nowhere to hide, I’m going out my mind all alone. I tell lies and wear smiles when I ain’t feeling alright. Modelo in my right hand with a wrong mind. I wish that I could press pause and rewind ‘cause I never wanna let you down.” – lyrics
Not too long ago, CHARLOTTE celebrated her 21st birthday with the release of her “I Tell Lies” single via The Orchard.
The bubbly tune is from her upcoming debut EP, entitled, “Nowhere to Hide”, available May 3, 2019.
The soulful project reveals CHARLOTTE’s unique voice and timeless sound, which is rooted in soul and pop music of the past and present.
Also, it details her painful journey from child to adult in brutal honesty with heart-rending beauty. While addressing those difficult teenage years when she battled everything from body confidence and unrequited love to independence and loneliness.

CHARLOTTE – “I Tell Lies”
CHARLOTTE spent her early teens performing in pubs until her family moved to Singapore when she was 14 years old.
Isolated from her friends and the life she knew, she started to write and sing every day, finding therapy in her music to cope with these inner struggles as a teenager.
