“When you mix me with tequila, we can skip the nice to meet yas. I don’t wanna talk, babe, I don’t wanna get to know you. I just wanna get you closer, I’m calling the shots, aye. And if you want it, you could have it. Me and mine we getting ratchet and we might get problematic tonight. So here’s my number, leave or take it. I don’t wanna sit here waiting, please don’t make it hot. And Imma see you at the next spot.” – lyrics

‘Next Spot’ tells an intriguing tale about a young woman who is chilling at a bar with her friends having lots of fun. Apparently, there’s a guy there who desires to get to know her in more ways than one. But unfortunately for him, his goal to take her home isn’t in her plans for the night. What she wants to do is travel to a nearby bar with her friends and continue having fun.

‘Next Spot’ contains a relatable narrative, ear-pleasing vocals, and tuneful melodies that will resonate well with fans of Brandy, Joyce Wrice, and VanJess. The likable tune possesses groovy instrumentation flavored with electro-R&B, funk, and contemporary rap elements. Furthermore, “Next Spot” serves as a tasty appetizer to what listeners can expect to hear from Cait Harris in the near future.
