Bishara – “On My Own”
“All I wanted to do was spread love and hopefully affect people in a positive way with my music. I think most people can relate to the lyrics and I wanted to show that feeling of the song and the way it moves me as well. It was so unreal that I went straight to the final, and I have been given so much love and positive feedback from so many people after my debut in Melodifestivalen.” – Bishara
Bishara performed “On My Own” at this year’s Melodifestivalen song competition. His dynamic voice was showcased plus his ability to act out his feelings on stage was highlighted.
Shortly afterward, the heartfelt tune shot straight to number #2 on the Swedish Spotify Top 50 chart.
‘On My Own’ contains a relatable storyline, ear-welcoming vocals, and piano-driven instrumentation flavored with sentimental elements. Also, the song tells an evergreen tale of heartbreak and unanswered love.

In 2018, Bishara’s music teacher asked him to sing in the school cafeteria. Shortly afterward, Bishara, totally unaware of his aptitude for singing, uploaded a clip from his performance.
The feedback was immediate, and Bishara’s following increased drastically on social media. Overnight, his comment section was filled with praise from people all over the world.
The positive responses prompted the bubbly teen to upload covers and clips recorded in his bedroom. Since then, his performance videos have collectively amassed over 8M views online.
