“I’ve been feeling you, your hands on my skin. I’ve been calling you, don’t know where you’ve been. Try to hold you, but you’re letting go. Feels like you’re not here, but how can I know. You were there when nobody dares to be. You looked through my eyes and showed me things I couldn’t see. Tried to talk with you it didn’t succeed. Guess I don’t need to explain myself to you ‘cause you let, let me be.” – lyrics
‘Be’ is about embracing spiritual sensibility. The emotive tune showcases BÉE’s pitch-perfect vocals to striking effect. Also, the song serves as a wonderful presentation to what listeners can expect to hear from BÉE in the near future as she continues her rise to fame.

“My mum gave me a tiny red box when I was just eight years old. In that box was a little piece of paper that said: ‘If you open this box, an angel will come out and they will listen to all of your stories and help you solve your problems.’ I used to talk to this ‘angel’ for hours and hours pretty much every day for years. I really felt like there was someone or something there to answer me, even though I couldn’t see them. I desperately wanted to meet this angel in person and for them to be tangible. But, as I got older, I understood that it’s fine to just feel the strength and direction it gives me.” – BÉE stated
BÉE spent many hours of her childhood in music studios with her father, a successful songwriter. It is this heritage (steeped in music) that enabled her to develop a confident and eloquent style that stretches beyond her 19 years. So far, her songs have collectively amassed over 100,000 plays on Spotify alone. Furthermore, “Be” follows on the heels of her previously released singles (“Nothing Alike”, “See You In A Bit”).
