Audrey – “I Try”
“‘I Try’ was written in a day, inspired by an Oreo McFlurry. Life is good even when it’s bad. We’re all gonna die anyway.” – Audrey via helloavdrey.com
‘I Try’ tells the tale of an optimistic woman who tries her best every day to keep her head up regardless if her day is going good or bad. Forget all the things people say about her, when she looks in the mirror, she sees that things are really good after all.
The song contains an inspiring narrative, soulful vocals, and a throwback ‘90s-inspired R&B instrumentation perfumed with a summery nostalgic odor.
