Amilli – “Die for You” (Live) | Vevo DSCVR At Home
Vevo DSCVR is a series that highlights artists who are shaping the future of music. One of these artists is Amilli, whose career began with a SoundCloud upload of a track crafted just for fun in a friend’s basement. Shortly afterward, the anti-materialism message of her “Rarri” single upped the ante. Similar to Lorde’s “Royals”, “Rarri” used pop arrangements to forward a barbed notion about the current state of pop music. Naturally, the Internet loved it. Since then, Amilli has established herself as an exciting artist to watch.

Amilli – “Die for You” music video ft. Serious Klein
“Three missed calls, the flight mode’s on. Out and about I can’t right now. In the studios where I belong. Talk to you later when I’m at home. In this life, right now, do you really wanna stay? I’m so sorry ’bout these little games I play. Sometimes I don’t really know what’s good for me to love. Things have changed months ago, it’s now a show after a show. Do you talk to other girls when I’m away? I like to see you, feel you, love you every day.” – lyrics
Growing up, Amilli never dreamed of a music career. Her dad loved spinning jazz records and her parents encouraged their children to sing and play instruments. But music was something Amilli “just did for herself”, or in her own words, she “slipped into” it. While her peers are saving their money for the next supreme-drop, Amilli is steady working on her debut project.
