R.Lum.R is an emerging R&B singer outta Bradenton, Florida. Not too long ago, he released a music video for “Frustrated“, a hit-song off his “Afterimage” EP. The Dylan Reyes-directed video shows the artist with a couple that’s on the verge of breaking up.
“This song was written at a time where I knew I had some big decisions to make. I was getting ready to leave the place I was born, to pursue my music, but every time I was convinced that I needed to leave, something gave me a reason to want to stay. Either a woman, a friend, or a few other things. Basically, it’s a letter to myself, written from the perspective of a relationship. I found it easiest for me to be able to understand it that way.”
In a short span of time, fans have fallen in love with or have gravitated to Frustrated because it’s simply the truth. Also, its hypnotic appeal is the reason why it has surpassed 22-million streams on Spotify. This must be a not-so-frustrating result for R.Lum.R.
