Iconic legend Stevie Wonder can add another classic song to his massive catalog. His newest, bluesy-pop single ‘Faith’ (feat. songstress Ariana Grande) got hands clapping and toes tapping to the musical rhythm of ‘Sir Duke’ himself. Upbeat and down the street, ‘Faith’ is the first single from Universal Studios/Republic Records’ ‘Sing: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack’, which is the soundtrack to Illumination Entertainment/Universal Pictures’ 2016 cartoon blockbuster film bearing the same name.
Grande, who has recorded multiple hits with some of today’s musical superstars, is blessed to be a part of one of the coolest collaborations ever.
‘Sing: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack’ is a non-stop singalong, put together by the great folks behind Despicable Me and Secret Life of Pets. It features original songs by Stevie Wonder, Ariana Grande, and Scarlett Johansson, alongside catchy covers like Tori Kelly’s version of Wonder’s 1973 hit ‘Don’t You Worry ‘Bout a Thing‘.
FUN FACT: This is the first-time Wonder has recorded music for a film in more than 25 years. The last time Wonder recorded for a film was for ‘Jungle Fever‘, the 1991 soundtrack album to Spike Lee’s movie bearing the same name.
