Michael Kiwanuka is holding on to ‘One More Night’

Michael Kiwanuka, an acoustic/blues/soul-inspired singer/songwriter from  Muswell Hill, London, is holding on to ‘One More Night’, a sizzling-hot single off his critically acclaimed sophomore album ‘Love & Hate’.

“Michael Kiwanuka’s stunning second LP proves he’s an artist with something to say. ‘Love & Hate’ is a timely and timeless set of slow-burning soul that recalls Marvin Gaye, Bill Withers, and Curtis Mayfield. Produced by Danger Mouse, it sounds of the past and present all at once—as it does in the string-embossed swing of “Black Man in a White World.” – iTunes Review

Kiwanuka’s ‘Love & Hate’ has been nominated for some pretty prestigious awards, including 2016 BBC Music Awards for ‘Album of the Year’, and 2017 Worldwide Awards for ‘Album of the Year’. In 2012 Kiwanuka won BBC’s ‘Sound of 2012’ award, and in 2016 he gained LOS40 Music Awards’ ‘Critics’ Award’.
