A Trayvon Martin Tribute Song by Alex Banks II, Zangba, and Keon Bryce

In 2012, 28-year-old George Zimmerman shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. The untimely tragedy sparked a nationwide outrage, and many fingers pointed at the failing US criminal justice system and racial profiling. But every year after that tragic moment, people, far and near, have kept Martin’s memory alive. Collaborators such as saxophonist Alex Banks II, author/poet Zangba, recording artists Keon Bryce, and music-producer Edward Wilson are recent contributors to Martin’s legacy; plus the forthcoming  film and documentary about Martin’s life, by producers Jay Z and the Weinstein Company, will surely solidify Martin’s story in digital reality.
